Pests
« on: September 25, 2009, 11:28:28 AM »
LL planted a load of busy lizzies (sp?) in pots on the patio before she left for the UK (Miss D saw them) and left strict instructions on their care...

I was told in no uncertain terms that they would not die naturally before she returned!  scared2:

Anyhoo... the bloody things have been disappearing like carrots on a bugs bunny cartoon.  eeek:

I'd assumed that the cats or dog must have taken a liking to them for some reason... I just went outside and another had gone - I immediately accused the dog...  cussing:

Then I noticed.....

A mahoosive caterpillar like - with eyes as big as saucers!  eeek:

There was one actually eating a busy whotsit and another casually strolling between the living and recently departed plants!  noooo:

They both took flying lessons rather earlier than nature intended!  eveilgrin:

How can I explain to LL in simple, believable terms how Miss D killed them?  rubschin:

A Slugpoon is needed
I have always thought that the worst thing about drowning was having to call 'help!' You must look such a fool. It's put me against drowning.

Rather drab considering they were eating busy lizzies all day.

Do they smell nice?

No, the cat shite was definitely cat shite.

And the brown thing that came out of the machine this morning was definitely half a mahoosive caterpillar...

The other half remains undiscovered...  noooo:
