Well?  The Freeview thingy?

Has anyone done it yet?  Should we wait until Wednesday when confronted with a blank screen?  I have a couple of elderly relatives one of whom will probably go apopleptic when she finds she can't get her daytime tv  noooo:

You have to wait until Wednesday.

Freeview TVs and boxes will need to be re-tuned on or after Wednesday 30 September

I gather it's just a matter of pressing the button and the little boxes will retune themselves. Fingers crossed.

Fortunately I have Free Sat in one room and Freeview in the other so the children can be kept at bay like.  whip:

Please also note:

Viewers with a Freeview TV or box need to re-tune from lunchtime onwards

Now, what time does one have lunch?  rubschin:

This calls for a mass exodus from the workplace clearly. A need to go home and re-tune ~ an HMG order  eveilgrin:

I shall have the telly on while I'm working and wait for it to go haywire or whatever then inform you all  lol:

We have Sky. I assume that is OK?

I am still waiting for the picture on the little black and white TV in the kitchen to come back....

Sky just marches on as before as it is already a digital signal.

You could be waiting some time I fear, DS. Why not print out a picture of the test card and sellotape it to the screen? You could even print it out in colour!  razz:

I have Sky also.  Currently cloudy.

You could put the B&W in the kitchen to good use by wiring it to a CCTV camera trained on the front gate.
Sure to see the b@st@rds coming for you that way. whistle:

On Wednesday 30 September improvements are being made to the Freeview service to pave the way for the digital TV switchover

Not really explaining anything though.
