Yes I expect it will be ~ I pity anyone with elderly Aunts and the like who will need to be sorted out ..................... Oh  redface:

Meanwhile it only effects some channels ~ not all will be lost if you don't update immediately.
Basically just go into the menu on the set-top box (even if it sits on a nearby shelf like mine and is not therefore technically a "set-top" anything) and select "Install". Push the OK button, the box will search for new channels, new locations for existing channels and reset itself. Before you know it Robert will become a brother to one of your parents.

The move mainly aims to give more viewers access to Channel Five.

However, those who have Channel Five at the moment will be unable to watch it until they have retuned

All this for Channel 5  happy001 happy001 happy001

The leaflet we have received says
"There are TWO stages to the switchover. The Current signal for BBC two is being switched off after the first switchover to continue to watch BBC Two you will need to retune your set-top box on or after 9th September 2009"

The advice leaflet then goes on to say:
"You will need to retune BBC One, ITV, Channel Four and Five at stage two of the digital switchover on or after 30th September 2009"

Not everyone lives in London sweety whistle:
