Well where to start  rubschin:

He blotted his copybook right from the offset as far as I was concerned. He considers himself a bit of a 'foody' and when we were all ordering  was trying to 'advise' me what to choose  ::)

Sea Bass was his recommendation  scared2:

I politely declined confirming that I did not like anything fishy. "then you've not eaten the decent stuff " I was informed and that I needed to try new things and challenge my preconceived ideas about these things  evil: evil: evil:

Thank you but no thank you ...I ordered meat  cloud9:

So when all the food arrives he then insists on holding the end of his fork to my face and says " just try a bit "

What about I DO NOT LIKE FECKIN FISH does he not understand  cussing:

So moving on and after several bottles of wine have been consumed around the table the conversation turns. One of the girls around the table has got a particularly low cut top on and he then comments " you should wear something like that ...you have the equipment "  redface:  I would have suggested he should wear a body bag at that point but I was distracted by one of the girls.

Then during the meal the Mr Tickle arms became apparent as the arm was stretched out round the back of my chair. I guess at least he didn't do the yawn , stretch and leave arm there manoeuvre  noooo:

The hand would then get placed on my shoulder  / knee when talking to me until I shrugged it off

At the end of the meal he gave the " I think you're lovely"  ......yada  yada yada yada spiel  noooo: - I would love to take you to breakfast next week  eeek: eeek: eeek: eeek: eeek:

"Breakfast"  I ask incredulous

"Yes, breakfast...there is a lovely little Portuguese bakery opened down the road from me ....etc etc etc "

I don't think so  evil:

So, much as expected then.  ;)

In a strange way it is encouraging to us 'normal' blokes that such nebbishes as your 'admirer' are still out there.

I assume when he asked for a phone number you gave him the Samaritans?

Perhaps you should have a theme for your dinner dates?
