BM now you are back in the Uk have you tried the Pineapple in Dorney, they do about 40 different types of sarnie, choice of proper breads or baguettes which come with either soup or thick cut chips.

The Vampires Ruin (I think it's called) is lovely, hot roast beef, garlic, red onions & horseradish.

Although, many years ago (we're talking 25+) they used to do a 'steakwhich' in French bread which was to die for with a pint....
