Bedrooms of teenagers
« on: October 08, 2009, 07:25:56 AM »
Part of this mornings 'issues' with The Brat is the ongoing state of her room. - a study in itself around how living organisms can survive in extreme biologically hazardous conditions  noooo:

It is a complete tip ...with smelly football kit discarded on the floor , spoons with remnants of a yoghurt eaten days ago , cups, glasses etc. And cupboards that look like this ..

I have had the " This is my room and I live in it how I want " statement made again this morning.

Followed by the very mature ..."I think you'll find your room is located in my house and until the time it's not you will clean the fecking thing up"  evil:

Do they get better ...please someone give me hope  lol:

What are you complaining about?  You can still see the carpet!

Don't tell me about these problems ~ I have three bedrooms that look like that   cussing:

Three angles just to give you some idea of this mornings state of the THW's room and this is on a good day!

Note the collection of fungi growing cups and glasses.

They do not improve until they have children of their own.
We went "cat/dog sitting/house" for my eldest daughter after she married. She was about 22 at the time. Her husband was 25. In the week that we stayed in their house we, between us, did her ironing that we found in the spare room. 123 Tee shirts! eeek: 12 sets of bedding  eeek: eeek: and so it went on. It took us the week to do it all!

She now has a THW of her very own and frequently phones me for assurance that things do improve ............... eventually.

Yet they can go into any other room and notice instantly when there is something new or different in there  evil:

and why can't they have one like that ( insert whinging feckin emoticon )

Because I am doing my room she has asked for hers to be redone

I needed incontinence pads because I laughed so hard  lol:
