Anyway on the subject of bad backs I had one start suddenly on Friday evening, it got worserer and worserer until the pain was so bad I thought "This could be a heart attack".

Mrs thought so too "You look dreadful" she said and dialled 999

The nice doctors let me out again yesterday evening.

It wasn't a heart attack ~ they say it was a muscle spasm but the adrenalin caused by the pain had made the heart speed up and that in turn caused some problems with the rhythm of the heart bad enough for my implanted device to consider shocking me (fortunately it didn't).

Soooooooooo I was right, the Docs said, to call an ambulance.

It was fvcking agony!

Glad you all missed me!!!!!!

Like a pin cushion  evil:

They did more tests in 24 hours than I would have thought possible. Since I take "blood thinning" meds every blood test means a socking great bruise. Even the blood pressure cuff bruised me surrender:

Wondered where you were. You'll have to get Mrs Snoopy registered so that she can keep the pub updated

Never had the muscle spasms, luckily. First time it happened they gave me valium to prevent the spasms, not been given any since.
