Frickin Jobsworths

So the delivery men have just been. 2 of them bought in my final bits of furniture.

"Where would you like this placed " he kindly offered as he walked through the door.

"Well if you wouldn't mind taking them upstairs, turn right at the top " I said

"We can with the small items" he says but the large one is over 50kgs so we can only leave that by the door . It's our policy

" But there are 2 of you " I say getting a bit miffed now

" Sorry love ... It's the policy "

That's fine then ...just leave it by the door and I'll bloody well do it myself  noooo:

Anyways my friend and I have just been out for lunch .

She made the fatal mistake of asking what the huge obstruction was in the hallway when she arrived  whistle:

5 minutes later we had both managed to navigate it round the stairs and into my bedroom at the cost of a broken finger nail though  evil:

That brings back the memory of Eldest Daughter once wailing "I've broken my best fingernail" ~ even with my experience that one had me puzzled ~ I thought the object was that finger nails should match.
