I've been clearing ancient dust out of the coal cellar! I've prolly got some bug that has been lurking there since the last delivery of nutty slack fifty years ago! It's a coal cellar ~ why would you want to clear out the coal dust?We have a coal cellar and we simply have more coal added to the dust. Big selling point ~ "Loads of original features and period detail"Because for the past fifty years it was a workshop and full of shyte. And when I took out the shyte there was mountains of sawdustAnd when I removed the sawdust there was - guess what - a pot of gold coal dust.Ah ~ so no real fires left then? Shame 'cos they add ????thousands to the asking price ~ assuming you are readying the property for sale and are doing all this work to maximise the price.

Allergic reaction to dust
If that's true ~ leave the dust. It's been there that long it is part of the fixtures and fittings.
