A team of Base jumpers seem perfectly laid-back as they hurl themselves off the world's fifth-tallest free-standing structure in a bid to set a new record.

The 24 daredevils yesterday began a new Guinness World Record attempt by getting each member to leap from the Menara Kuala Lumpur Tower in Malaysia every hour for 24 hours.

Jumpers enjoy just six seconds of freefall from the 279m (915ft) structure before having to deploy their parachutes and perform a gentle landing in front of spectators.

I am sorry but I thought bungee jumping was foolhardy  eeek:...this stuff is just madness  noooo:

I am a ground loving , kerb hugging dweller and proud of it  lol:

Would you seriously do that though  eeek:

Have you done a parachute / bungee jump or any such thing before ?

Wouldn't you have to have an operation to get your heart restarted and your stomach replaced if you were to do such a thing.....  scared2:

I've tried bungee jumping,  angel diving and bridge swinging inthe past nut I'm not sure I'd try this noooo:
