Bleeding radiators

I am trying to 'bleed' the radiator in The Brats room and it is not budging  evil:

I have used WD40 on it ....it is not budging  evil:

I have sworn at it ....it is not budging  evil:

Of course the 'bleed valve' is at the back of the radiator which means you have to contort your hand until you just about feel like you are going to break it and then try and get some leverage when you can't see what you're doing  noooo:

I know some radiators have them at the end and they are therefore far more accessible - however mine do not  noooo:

Carry on trying and you will no doubt end up bleeding on the radiator. noooo:

I am facing the front of the radiator...have my hand down the back of it ... which then becomes pretty much flushed to the wall and am trying to turn it in an anti clockwise direction. Thank you very much

Anti-clockwise as seen from the room side or the wall side?

Bleed screws can corrode in place unless you give them a twist every few months. Try shifting it when the radiator is hot and if that doesn't work try again when it is cold. That sometimes is enough to do it. Be careful not to scald your hand when trying to turn it if the radiator is hot.
