Left arms are very useful although less so for women.

Pain there is an indication (often) of heart attack, which is another reason why I don't like this hurting now.

Just spoke with my dad.
He had the usual flu jab but declined the swine flu one.

The son of some friends of ours, had the jab last week - they said that he has been grumpy since then.

I'm sure i heard that only 25-30% of nursing staff have the conventional flu jab when offered. A ex-colleague had a severe reaction to a flu-jab 20 years ago and ended up paralysed for the rest of his days. I won't be having one HTH.

Mrs Growler was very poorly many years ago after havin' the flu jab apparently.She felt like she'd actually got the full blown flu.
Pumping dead virus' into your blood stream can't be good for you can it?

All these injections. I sometimes wonder if they cause more trouble than they solve.

Update
Yesterday - gradually worse as the day went on. had to meet Mts Tel in Croydon for some shopping, was not in the mood, but survived it. By the evening I has started to sniffle and my throat was feeling tight and dry, then my knnes and and ankles started to ache.

Today - still sniffling and throat is not good. Knees and ankles seem ok but I feel incredibly tired and sluggish.
Arm still hurts as much.

Off to the usual lunch with my dad shortly. Don't really feel like it, but today would have been my mum's birthday and I can't rearrange anything as he is off to see my niece for the weekend.

This all sounds very similar to the side effects I suffered after a jab several years ago. Can't remember what it was for, something Yellow Fever in some Asian country, but I was warned not to plan anything at the weekend 'cos I was going to feel like shite - like a heavy does of 'flu for about 2 / 3 days. I could barely get out of bed  cry:

Update - arm stopped hurting on Monday.
A couple of very sleepless nights, was feeling very hot.
Tiredness and fatigue also eased on Monday, more or less back to normal now - that was about a week altogether.
