« on: November 18, 2009, 10:01:25 PM »
Don't you just love it ey?  cloud9:

Just munched me way through a mahoosive bag of seedles red grapes.

Apart from the usual suspects, what fruits do you recommend.
I've had fresh pineapple and kiwi, so what else needs trying, full of goodness and anti oxidants and stuff.
Can't eat Bannanas btw. They give me the belly cramps. sad32:

Being diabetic I am forced to limit my fruit intake ~ wrong sort of sugars or summat.
Before being diagnosed I could and did eat any and all fruit in hooge quantities. I love fruit and would happily live on it.

Favourites would have to include green seedless grapes chilled in the fridge for an hour.
Love orange sandwiches and heaven is a strawberry sandwich with black pepper.
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.

CAKE is full of fruit

Yes, (some) but it's baked fruit, so it's lost most of its goodness and nutritional value and stuff.

At this time of the year most supermarkets sell them BUT you have to know how to eat them. Do not eat the outer. Cut the fruit in half and eat only the little sacs containing the seeds. The skin and pith are exceedingly bitter and not to be eaten. When I was a nipper Mother used to give us a pin to stick the little sacs with, I now figure this was to slow us down, but all kids ate them that way.

I think they taste delicious... hard to describe the flavour tho...

I grow them in me garden but most supermarkets should have them over there...

Home grown strawberries and black pepper. cloud9:

I think that over the years I have prolly grown most fruit that can be grown in the UK

Used to grow blueberries cloud9:

Grew kiwi fruit and that was good fun.

I don't think that there is any fruit that I don't like but star fruit is just well, nothingness really. Shrugs:
