It's not my day  noooo:

On the way back from the doc (antibiotics now) I set out to cross the road. A car hurtled round the blind bend behind me, so I stopped and withdrew towards the kerb. As the lights were red the kind lady in the car stopped and gestured to me to cross anyhoo.

The car behind with came hurtling round the bend, piloted by some demented pensioner, failed to stop and rear ended the first car. Steam, broken glass, irate folks, the lot.

Police called and all sorts of confusion about witnesses. 2 hours later and I am home. Both cars taken away on trucks  noooo:
