Today I will mainly be  trying to stay upright and do some gardening. D doh: I can't stay upright and garden.

Today I will mainly be having a re-think.
I have always thought that the worst thing about drowning was having to call 'help!' You must look such a fool. It's put me against drowning.

Having sorted the bizness admin (VAT, bank rec's etc) I thought to tackle an errant spotlight on the lighting rig in the office ...

Up the ladder, check the connection, down the ladder, switch on, no light, up the ladder change the bulb, down the ladder, switch on, no light, up the ladder, check the connections, down the ladder, switch on, no light, up the ladder, check the connections again, down the ladder, Yay! Light!
After 5 minutes, light goes out! Up the ladder Feck the ladder, I grab a ruler and stretch up and hit the bulb ... Light comes on!  surrender:

Cycled around Snowshill today and had lunch at the Farmers Arms in Guiting Power.  Then back home to attend the internment of the MIL ashes.  Cake and tea and home again.
