Oh I see. ;D

Did you manage to see  Venus and the new moon last night Unc?  Up here a cloudless sky made it  stunning could see the dark side and everything. cloud9:

Notice my considerable restraint in not enquiring if it was clear enough to see Uranus.  angel1

Bugger!  Banghead

A holiday in Mexico city looms ever closer. Mr C's son lives and works there, he has been there for nearly a year now and it will be lovely to see him. This I know is a once in a lifetime trip,I will not go again as Mr C's son will move on. The fact that Mr C's son knows the city and is preparing some sort of itinerary is wonderful.  All of this I can cope with and be delighted by. Come Monday I will be on an aeroplane for umptydiddly hours. So this week will mainly be spent tying up lose ends.

I seem to be in some sort of panic, for me this is not the best of times to leave this country.  I have 2 greenhouses full of stuff that needs pricking out, transplanting, labelling.  I should be doing more sowing but can't as I wont be here to water stuff.

I just know that because of the bonkers weather we are having at the moment when we get back the grass and weeds will be 2' tall the greenhouse will be out of control and I will be grumpy......No change there then.

Oh bolloxy bolloxy bollox.

Stitches out tomorrow

Hospital say to get that done at my doctor's. That's handy

Call surgery. Nurse booked up all week  cussing: cussing: cussing:

I have been advised to go to the "Walk in Centre". A quick look online reveals their latest patient reviews:

staff was surly, uncooperative, confrontational and unpleasant to a degree only usually matched by thirteen year old boys. The lack of an in-house pharmacy meant that the nearest place for me to collect any medication was over an hour away on foot (apparantly a place called netherfireld, when I asked the staff for directions the answer was a surly I'dunno). Overall the experience was somewhat less pleasant than my last colonoscopy and I will be advising all and sundry to avoid the centre at any cost.

I went to one once, when we were living with Mr C's parents.  Dreadful place.  I have to go again this Friday although this is an appointment rather than a 'walk in' it is worth considering taking out the stitches yourself.  That's what I did after some neck surgery.  All was fine other than my head dropping off.  With your hand what could possibly go wrong and you do have other fingers which is a huge plus.

I could come and administer tea and a biscuit after you have done the deed. angel1

I got the right head back... honestly it works a little slower has serious blonde/senior problems but that's normal, me thinks.

Small nail scissors, pair of tweezers. Snip each stitch and pull it out knot end first. Do not pull the knot through the wound!

Or nip into A&E feigning ignorance of any instruction to go to your doctor and they'll prolly do it while you wait.  whistle:
