Thank heavens it is the last day of Easter holiday and the weekend is nearly here.

I am exhausted. Brother is normally getting in about 4.30 am and I always wake up even though he is very quiet. I struggle to get back to sleep.

So cumulative Friday is a corker  noooo:

The Brat just phoned.

She is meant to be going to her dad's tonight.

"Can I go on Sunday , I am going out to Camden tomorrow with my friends instead " she asks ?

"Ring him and discuss it , I don't know what plans he has " I say

" Can you do it , tell him I am going to Leeds to see family or something " she says

"Leeds  eeek: - he knows where you have family you muppet  and Leeds isn't one of those places.  Just tell him the truth" I suggest

" You are sooooooooooooooooo unreasonable " she declares before putting the phone down.

5 minutes later I get a phone call from her dad.

" Is it alright with you if I pick her up tomorrow . I have just spoken to her and she is going out but wanted to check in case you had anything planned" he says

" What time would you pick her up when she gets back from Camden " ? I enquire

" Camden  ??? I thought she was going to Westfields today ? That's what she has told me "

As I have mentioned before there is lots of building work going on around our office. - big redevelopment project for the area. Nice sparkly new buildings, lots of glass frontage , etc.

However the building works on our side of the building have been going on for about 9 months now.  But all the heavy work has now been done and windows being put on the new building etc.  Our windows however are filthy , grimey, dusty and disgusting  noooo:

I contacted our corporate property section to ask when they would be cleaned as it has been 9 months at least now  noooo:

I have just received this response ....

Good afternoon Miss D

I can confirm the windows are not going to be cleaned this year due to the building work taking place around xxxx xxxx.

There has been an agreement raised that the building contractor will eventually pay for a full deep clean of the outside windows once all major building works are complete next year 2013.

It was deemed by the Council not an effective use of Council funds to carry out window cleaning whilst the dust and dirt from the building works took place.

I hope this answers your query adequately

Surely they could get the feckin hoooooge building company to pay for the windows to be cleaned at least once before then.  eeek: It is alright to let the contractors come in and use our services at a subsidised rate e.g canteen , coffee shop  noooo:
