I sometimes get reproached for insisting a job is done in advance of the deadline. Today has delivered vindication of my reasoning  evil: .
A print job has arrived, promotional material for the end of the month. It involves a couple of folds; there are two ways to do it, the right way, and of course the wrong way.
Doubtless Mr Cock-up was standing next to the numpty in the finishing room because yes, it's been folded the wrong way  noooo:

I have been offered a 20% discount to accept the job as it stands ... Oh noes, they're going to do it the right way at their expense (+ delivery)  eveilgrin:

The incorrect material is still useable (if I run out) so I guess I'll have double the quantity at half the price  whistle:

The bike is shouting and rattling the locks.

Oi! Tell your bike 'on yer bike'
Rattling chains 'n locks 'n things is MY job!

OK?
"Political Correctness is a doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end."

Well, someone had to say it!

Have just seen the strangest thing. Went to fill the car up ( sad24:) at Sainsbury's. There was a wumman waiting with a load of shopping. A man (her husband) drew up in a large car and put the shopping in the back seat. He then opened the boot and she climbed into it and lay down on a blanket  eeek:

He shut the boot and drove off.

There was no one else in the car.

30 miles around Pinvin, Fladbury, Grafton Flyford, Oddingley, Cropthorne... not in that order.  Then a lift back collecting plants for the containers.  Then an afternoon of rugby.   cloud9: cloud9: cloud9:
