To the hotel was 138 miles and we did it in 2 hours 4 mins and that includes the 10 minute petrol/gay coffee stop.

We've gone into town - "The Windmill". Old Speckled Hen on draught.

And I banged my head on one of the roof beams. Honest!

I popped past Bill Shakespeare's place - Chinese tourists everywhere.

Have now settled in a pub with free wi-fi and Guinness at £2.85 per pint  cloud9:

M40 Southbound. Doing about a millionty miles per hour. She gazed at the fields that flew by and said "what does it mean when cows are sitting down?". I replied "it means you should have gone to Specsavers; they were rolls of hay". We're just passing Silverstone, I fully expect her to pull off the motorway and do a quick lap before we continue...

Look Moany, far be it for me to interfere with your fasination towards getting bladdered all the time, but for your own safety and life longevity, wouldn't it p'raps be a good idea for you to lay off the ale for a few hours and do some of the driving?

Just a kind concerned and 'elpful thought like. whistle:

I drove to Leeds - she's doing the return journey. As she's been in meetings, she dropped me at a local pub and then picked me up after her meetings. I couldn't exactly sit in a Costa for 3 hours, could I? :-)
