Well you are well spoken ~ sort of urbane and suave like. Comes of having a proper education I 'spose.

It was when the other future MiL remarked that Pink Sis was more "common sounding" that the trouble started  scared2: scared2: scared2: scared2:

Apparently my lot left Lincs (MiL's) after a tense lunch and BiL followed them down the road heading back home to Surrey. SiL was her usual bitchy self so there was an unspoken agreement to leave ASAP. Main reason I don't go there anymore as I am not known for my patience with the silly wummun.

I scored well in the pressy stakes with the highlights being an electric razor (never had one before) and a 16 disc set of Ealing Studios fillums ~ Oh and a biog of Harold Larwood (Cricketer from waaaaaay back).

BiL and his Lady (who also found excuses not to go as she shares my dislike of SiL) are the owners of a very large Poodle .... You know the "Giant" type.
It is unfortunately "Apricot" although it looks bloody ginger to my boys.

Anywhoo ~ BiL (Who is about your size) was walking it in Richmond Park a couple of weeks ago and a little girl walking with her father watched BiL and dog carefully and having passed them asked her Dad, in the shrill tones that only little girls can manage, "Why would a MAN have a poodle?" ~ Father tried to pass it off with a light laugh but BiL turned and shouted "And Father Christmas is DEAD!" before strolling on, leaving the child in tears. He claims it made him feel better.

Frankly I questioned an Apricot Poodle, which is so not the BiL's thing, but it seems that his Lady has a friend who breeds them and whenever her latest dog dies she gets another of the same. They don't seem to last past 10 years.

Mind, this one may be ginger but it is bigger than our Labrador

NOT a good day for the nephew's fiancee's new guide dog to do its "cat acclimatisation" training

Nor for her to drive her car into a wall whilst fetching me

If she needs a guide dog, why is she driving at all?
