I too have much to do (no roofing) but was trying to see GP ..... First appointment available is on Wednesday.
I had an urgent (apparently) phone consultation with one of my GP on Friday following advice from a consultant that I saw on Wednesday.
She is one of the younger GP's at the surgery and is fairly on the ball. The conversation was regarding angina. She gave me sound advice regarding when to call 999 she advised doubling one of the medications that I am already on, she also advised me on the aide effects that I might and have suffered.
As my blood pressure had been taken and was OK at the hospital and as I monitor my own blood pressure on a regular basis, having given me the advice that she had, she was happy for me to stay at home as long as I got to the surgery today to see one of them.
I called the surgery this morning and there were no appointments available. As I am not dead (as far as I know) I will try again on the morrow.
