You don't need some loafer with a loofar ~ just have a good long soak, with loads of oils in the water, whilst you reflect on the freedoms you enjoy.

A 4.  And I think I'll go now and drive myself, to have some piece and quiet by the river for an hour before we are due out.  Can also watch the competition... like. eyes:

I thought I settled this earlier!  A four!

Was a good session.

Course those who need to be up early should be asleep by now.  Me included. whistle:

Today I shall be visiting a number of clinics and hospitals to be poked, prodded, needled, tested and generally fvcked about ~ such is the life of an everyday diabetic in this part of the world. I attend a four monthly clinic anyway but have to go through an "annual" check. I say "Annual" but they never manage to get round to it in under 18 months AND they never manage to have the various pokers, proders, jabbers of needles etc in the same fvcking place. The system seems to be that they despatch their roving teams to different "cottage hospitals" and "Clinics" in different parts of two counties. Didn't used to be like this when it was all under one roof but they have apparently split the teams so one lot who want to put drops in my eyes and then take photographs of the resultant mess are in Rhyl whilst the bunch who check feet and legs for loss of feeling (an indicator of possible diabetes induced gangrene if left untreated so they tell me) are now performing in the next county (Conwy).

I have been told be a district nurse that the two teams could never get on as one lot accused the other of delaying patients thus causing hold ups in the appointment system so it was decided to separate them (a bit like two squabbling children sent to different rooms).

Anywhoo it is a nice day for a drive around .... unfortunately SWWLTBO has to drive me round as the eye drops mean I can't drive for 12 hours.

Also in Preston saw a large vehicle belonging to the National Clamping Company. Driver was clamping a car.  noooo:

On the side of the vehicle was the company motto: "We Care"  whacky115
