Refurbishing some leather on a Jag XK.
Cream.
Now you see, this is why I sometimes luv my job.
The geeezer has just textededed me thanking me and stating just how pleased he is with the refurb on his Jag seats what I've didid for him.
Makes me feel all werthwile for a change, and all warm fluffy and cosy inside when that happens.
Did you respray them......
It was just a few small marks and scuffs on them both.
Repaired the damge and resprayed the affected areas only, yes.
Bit tricky being cream, as they show any dirt and wear very very easily, and of course, fresh paint is clean as new, naturally.
Dirty pale finish on leather is near impossible to clean btw, as the dirt actually gets absorbed into the finish. Chemicals usually destroy and remove the paint.
The guy is anal about his car, but with justification, as even though it's 6 years old, it is actually a very fine example.
