I have been at work but sloped off early to try a local country pub (Watership Down) that has just reopened and getting good reviews. Four local micro-brewery beers and an excellent bar menu in place, kitchens open fully on Thursday  . Excellent refurb, friendly landlord, landlady and daughter, I wish them all the luck they deserve

Sounds lovely JOM.  I might well get the details from you.  My clan are heading your way in October for a weekend to celebrate my mother's 80th birthday.  Mr C and I will be staying for a few days either prior to or after the W/E.

Tonight off to a council meeting.  Feathers and fur will fly.  There have been some corrupt goings on (surprise surprise) and tonight they are going to be revealed.
The FOI is a wonderful thing.
