I've been pondering over a letter I received. I cashed in a financial product and er.. bought another, different one. Here we go...
"Dear Mr P,
I am writing to let you know, (sic ) that we have sent a payment of £xx,xxx.xx to Legal & General to complete the transfer of your xxxxx previously held with Legal & General.
We regret that you have decided to move your xxxx to another company, but I hope that we completed the transfer to your satisfaction.
If you need any more information blah blah blah etc...
Yours,
Sophie O'Neil
Customer Services
Legal & General"Apart from the punctuation I'm puzzled why Sophie, who styles herself
We, is regretful in the least.
