Today I will mostly be waiting for an electrician to call

Will the phone work with the power off...?  whistle:

The old style wired landlines will work as part of BT's operating licence involves providing enough power through the phone line to the house to run one in case of a power cut.

But not if you have a wireless telephone malarkey....
Well yes some are dumb enough to only have that.  IIRC BT still require that you must have one phone that works when mains power is off.

Anyway today has gone a lot better (massive tempting of fate mode)

Electrics debugged (complicated fault) - full fix is going to cost £££.

Bought new toy that lets us set the heating up/down/round from anywhere in the world

Mother being released from hostipal and I don't have to transport her

Electrical gubbins being returned free for £££ refund

Not going to drive anywhere so Mad Merc driving Mrs Mental cannot get me - well at least not today.

What can possibly go wrong?  rubschin:
Well for a start Mrs K can now change the heating from her iPad. I can see the bill going up but only by a lot.  Wimmin always want thermostats higher

But the app is fun

Well, whatever, nevermind

Falmouth Sea Shanty Festival this weekend, Nick would hate it as the streets are full of performers but today has been full of things like this

Reversing,,,, rubschin:

Reversing lite, he might be getting behind a wheel later. This should not be confused by being under a wheel completely different and generally speaking much more painful. ;-)
