As a professional gardener I bought this after my other equipment was nicked. It came quite quickly and the first thing I noticed was the cheap packaging. I assembled the various components and it looked okay at first. However, on first use the vibration was excessive, so i stopped and had a better look. The connections between the main shaft and the attachments left something to be desired. the housing was very tight and seating the shafts together so that they fully engaged was difficult, basically too tight and there was nut to untighten it, but even loosening it and retightening it left something to be desired. At one point the drive shaft from the attachment was left in place when the outer casing was pulled away. I persevered, but none of the attachments would seat properly and the torque was never very good and didn't produce enough power to strim or brush cut effectively. I spoke to trueshopping and although helpful, I really wasn't happy with it. The locking mechanism for the attachments to the main drive shaft was very cheap and flimsy as well. That was just the start. After another use, all the bolts on the handle vibrated off and were lost, and that sealed it for me, so I returned it. The tool kit was really cheap and came in a plastic bag. I am used to stihl products and this although cheap wasn't even an adequate product. As a comparison to this I replaced it with an SWT product of similar design. All i can say is that there is a marked difference in quality and performance between the two.

Wish I had never bothered. The instruction book is poor. I put the various parts together with the use of the online videos. Everything looked robust and well engineered. Then came the disappointment. Started OK. But as soon as I moved my hand, which was next to the on/off switch, it switched off. I may have larger than average hands (100mm span) but not out of the ordinary. What ever I tried the motor kept switching off. Thought of taping the switch done but that would dangerous. Went on to their help line. They refused to accept it as a fault as they had no record of this problem before. The are records in the reviews. I have returned the machine to Amazon saying it has ergonomic defect. I certainly would not entertain this machine until they get this issue rectified

Very heavy - the chainsaw attachment doesn't work and it drinks more fuel than your average double decker bus.

Updated 17/9/2015 : choke unit faulty (replaced) Pull start cord ripped straight through plastic housing (replaced) .... now on the 4th use the engine unit exploded.

Spend the extra and by something robust - this is clearly a substandard, not fit for purpose piece of kit.

Faulty unit picked up today - so we'll see what the outcome is.

Was surprised at the quality to be honest machine whilst not light is exactly what I was looking for. Solid rods to drive the various extensions makes it reasonable duty and durable. Starting is best done on ground as I am sure there will be a knack of getting it on the fly when attached but easier staring it then lifting to to use. Instructions were for after it was assembled, but did leave a little to be desired if you had to relay on them to assemble it in the correct order. Easy of staring and use balance once 1 attachment on good but with the extension a second grip would not go astray for ease of use on the extension bar. Overall would recommend it to anyone needing this type of machine add to the toys for the masses as you cannot discriminate, however the weight means the fairer sex may struggle especially when the extension bar is in use. Not the lightest but certainly loads of power. Safety goggles a must when using strimmer could feel bits hitting face. Chain stretched significantly on first branch cut however after adjustment has not moved since. Instructions did warn this was a possibility.

That was the closest to the one I got...

Paid €300 ( eeek:) and so far am very pleased.... destruction manual was mahoosive... went together well and starts first time every time so far...

Chainsaw was not really man enough for the huge tree that I cut down with it but the other attachments are ideal for the rest of the garden....

Hope I am not tempting fate!  lol:
