Back to chainsaws the biggest problems I had with my one were than being electric it's a bit impractical rolling out 200 feet of lead and then it'd start raining.  More likely to get electrocuted than have bits lopped off.

What really was a pisser was why don't trees read the instructions?  You do all the right cuts in all the right places and they decide "no, we're going to fall the other way"

Have hardly needed to use it since 87 and that bloody storm which just about completed the needed thinning out chez Steve and Mrs K. But as tools to use a chainsaw is imho #2 in the fun list only beaten by a pneumatic drill - jeez they are awesome, well they were 40 years ago.

Well, whatever, nevermind

I know!  eeek:

I cut down a mahoosive Pepper Tree - the trunk was twice as wide as the chainsaw blade... I cut all round the bloody thing so I could see almost right through it light some bizarre magicians levitating act and it still wouldn't fall over!  evil:

Luckily tree #2 had seen what was going on and gave in much more easily...  lol:

Their flight to Moscow is at 18:00 but they want collecting at 14:00 - the airport is only 20 mins away FFS!  lol:
