Thursday is Colonoscopy day  eeek:

Stop eating tomorrow.

Wednesday - drink stuff that is basically drain cleaner. Don't eat anything. Stay near a toilet.

Thursday morning - drink more drain cleaner at 6am. Stay near a toilet. Cab to hospital at 9am. Get sedated apparently (although I can go for gas and air) - tube and camera goes up and "snippets" will be taken.  3 hours later leave, but apparently I must be accompanied. Bollox to that.

Must have someone with me for 12 hours at least. Bollox to that.

Can't drink for 24 hours. Bollox to that.

Bowels won't return to "normal function" fo 2-3 days. Bollox to that as well.
