I'm back like

What a fucking mess this is going to be to sort out.   One dead Uncle in Law 2 hours drive from here, no will to be found so far in a house that is in as big a mess as you could imagine and as far as we can work out Mrs K is the closest relative.  And guess how much it costs to get him cremated on a standard basis?  £4,300  eeek:

Still better to be sorting the mess out than be the dead person.

I am sure you don't need telling that you will eventually get the funeral/cremation/wake costs back from his estate once it is sorted.

Ta both but we weren't close.  Just the closest he had legally so the buck stops with us.

But his neighbours have been superb, they'd saved his life 3 times before and looked after him big time just couldn't save him this time.
