Been working on an IT issue which has stumped me since 2011... 
I have a multi-room music system which streams files from a server in the basement...
I had three players, all of the same sort spread around the house and all synchronised to play the same music.
Waaaay back in 2011, I purchased a new player - the old ones (Squeezebox) were obsolete so I bought a Logitec Squeezebox Radio.
Unfortunately, it won't synchronise with the other three players - it starts off okay but after one or two tracks the whole system stops working. The only way to fix it is to turn off or de-synchronise the SBR...
I've spent man-months working on it on and off since... every now and again I pick it up again and try to make it work.
Strangely, having just played the same album four times over I may well have fixed it today!
