You should try the internet  angel1

I could have had it done an hour ago... but for LL...  Banghead Banghead Banghead

Does she want to shop around ?

Yes!  Banghead Banghead Banghead

Finally got one booked... obviously not as good or well positioned as the one I chose over an hour ago...  noooo:

FFS!  cussing:
Would this be a good time to say don’t book a hotel near the harbour?

£££££££ when Sydney has an excellent transport system and the trains stop right on the quay

So what did we do for New Year?  Hotel near the harbour.   banghead:

The theory was she needed a short walk in the posh shoes ( we booked a posh din dins) and what happen?  We still had to walk half a mile away and then back as they closed roads to pedestrians

We ended up with the Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel...

...my first choice was Pier One Sydney Harbour...
The Radisson is excellent

Dunno but the bar food was vgood

BM could ‘console himself’ that there are no views of anything from the hotel, you have to use the valet parking, one of the lifts is out of action, not much hanging space in the rooms and there is absolutely fuck all immediately outside

It’s a business hotel really
Well, whatever, nevermind

It could be entertaining watching BM dig himself a hole trying to explain that the bucket is a Berka and not a Burqa...  whistle:

There was some fella on the tellybox recently explaining how he had been detained in Dubai .

Apparently he had been to one of the local bureau de change to get some more local currency for squandering. However he had one of them there Scottish notes in his wodge which the locals thought was mickey mouse. He was arrested for fraud  eeek:

After being kept for a day he was released and thought the matter had been closed. However when he returned with the family next year he was arrested at the hairyport. Kept for 3 weeks and then had his passport confiscated so family had to return without him  . Cost him £12k in legal fees to sort it out. ( In English notes)

Moral of the story ....Scottish notes are always grief !!
