Faffing around while BT engineer sucks his teeth saying “not seen this fault before”
What's the fault exactly? 
Something in the exchange or local cabinet. The bastard thing is I gave them all the evidence last Thursday to work that out. Hub says connected to interweb but no bits or bytes arrive on the home network. The engineer could get 8Mbps upload though
I now have to wait til tomorrow afternoon to see if they can sort it and worse I have to be at home for a fault that's bleeding obviously way outside of it.

Meantime using the iPhone as a hotspot and in theory that's costing me £10 a gigabyte but thatnks to the excellent Sky Mobile piggybank not paid a penny yet. But yes BT will be getting a compo claim
