Anyway as we sit here in the bar (JD and Coke and a Limoncello liqueur) time for an ear worm:
Mud mud, glorious mud.
Nothing quite like it for cooling the blood
Our hotel (3rd time) is in Abano Terme a town built on selling mud. People pay serious money to be plastered in warm mud for supposed detoxing and beautifying effects.
Well yet again we’re having none of that.
The hotel says a minimum of 6 days treatment which means serious fleecing of people’s hard earned. But the place and town just ooze charm and class despite maybe 100 things being not quite right. About half the guests spend the mornings wandering around in their dressing gowns (again not us)
