Ah that explains much. I will be retiring to the garret shortly where I have a bottle of Pinot freezing/chilling nicely on the windowsill.

I am at home  evil:

I check the web for train information... no disruptions bbc travel site says.... TV is showing Chiltern Rail have some disruption.

I get a lift to the nearest station.... all trains cancelled... aaaagggghhh!

-10 now.

Just had a merry christmas from the jobcentre, apparently because I was on the wrong kind of jobseekers allowance I'm not eligible for the budgeting loan after all.

Right now my hopes are on the blistering complaint I've made to the bank regarding my credit card.

I am not optimistic though.  noooo:

Try for an "Emergency Loan" instead.

Otherwise I'm afraid there is not much I can do to help other than lend you a few quid.

Going to walk into to town with my eldest.  He is going to do some shopping for his girlfriend's gran.  I am getting some final christmas stuff because it looks like I will be spending tomorrow and Thursday night in West Brom. Not so much because of the weather but there is a train strike planned.  ::)
