So today we were supposed to be spending with friends.  But they got their days mixed up and can't make it so there's nothing we can do about it, we now have to do Christmas card wrapping and present writing or summat

If I told you they can't make it because one is an election official and the other is going to be counting the votes does that make one a bit concerned?

Well, that all went splendidly. Apart from the main Nottingham to Newark road being blocked. And the freezing rain. And that alsatian  evil:

How did they know he would have a thing about High Vis jackets and would try to attack everyone?
