Bibury is a lovely place, but to be avoided at the weekends. A tenner says that pissed or not, Miss C has photos of Arlington Row

You are quite right JOM.

I had friends in Ampney St Peter and relatives in Cirencester.  Great memories. cloud9:

How come when I worked at down that way and had a company car I didn't investigate the area more....   Oh I remember why... I was already driving a 1000 mile a week at the time.  surrender:   A fabulous job which I enjoyed every minute I was there.

I've been to Oldbury and Bibury, Bibury has the ivy-clad Swan, I would imagine the Oldbury version would be The Mucky Duck still festooned with Christmasses outdoor illuminations  noooo:

It's not just Gloucestershire, it's The Cotswolds, anywhere from Bradford on Avon (The Cross Guns) right up to just short of Strensham

Don't start me on tourists!  evil:

B@st@rd caravan pullers even turned up over Christmas in the fecking snow and moped about the place complaining that many touring sites were closed. Ever heard of booking ahead? Oh NO! that, it seems, is contrary to the mindset of weekend caravan tuggers.
Still, on the bright side, local farmers made money by using their tractors to haul the silly sods out of ditches, hedgerows and sodden fields.
