Constant flow of boats from both directions at inconvenient times, many of them piloted by novices while major engineering works recommenced on the lock (though the dozen or so engineering guys seemed to spend most of the day eating chips, drinking tea and looking at their phones  ::)  )

The binmen come three times a week... I'll whizz the bag containing the cloths out just as they come up the street...  eveilgrin:

I've currently got the wet cloth (it is going to take days to finish it) in a zip-lock bag in a containment vessel* filled with water...  Thumbs:
