Been for a long drive on the the leafy lanes of Surrey, totally ruined by lycra lout cyclists everywhere then home, washed, ironed and put away all my work clothes - don't expect them to see the light of day for another 3 months or so.

eeek:   no work at all .. rubschin:

Not looking likely for a while...3 months is my guess.

eeek:  sorry to hear ..no flights .. rubschin:

Perhaps we need vaccine passports  rubschin:

What we do in this country is - to an extent - irrelevant. What the countries we want to go do demand is more important.  Any country is free to demand its requirements are met for tourists and that's fine. The Yellow Fever jab certificate has been around for ages - mind you that's mainly because most countries that suffer it have pretty poor health facilities and they don't need tourists clogging up what little facilities they do have.

My main worry is that the bumbling blonde baffoon will introduce the "traffic lights" system which will entail manatory quarantine on return from countries not on the "green" list. This will kill a lot of our normal flight destinations stone dead. And seeing as 99%ish of those likely to suffer the most/clog up the sacred NHS have already been vaccinated, it makes little sense. If the worry is "variants" then no-one will be able to go anywhere, ever. There are always variants, always have been.

The clusterfuckery of the EU vaccination effort is the biggest hurdle and I don't see that being rectified for ~ 3 months.
