ANother bonkers day. HIghlight was the dreaded NB Greenwood. Abandoned on a sandbank by its incompetent owner after he and his kids swam ashore and caught a bus home, the boat refloated itself after they left and set off down the Trent alone 80 feet long annd made of steel and full of diesel fuel it pesented something of a hazard to other boats...

It was recaptured (at ENORMOUS EXPENSE) some miles downstream by River and Canal Rescue who have it in their possession....
