Binmen managed to smash our brown bin last Wednesday (still awaiting the replacement) and our black bin is currently lying on its side across our drive  noooo:

Yep we gave them nothing again this year and won't next year either.  That all stopped when they required us to take the bins to the kerbside and back again.  Postman, Milkman, Paperman etc all get Christmas tips because they deserve it

Paperman ... rubschin:  still hard copy..?? and not a kid ...??....
yep get the papers Friday, Saturday and Sunday and usually finish reading them by the end of Thursday.  You get to read so much that you'd miss using online news.

And our guy is there 6.30 am ish all those days
Well, whatever, nevermind

Got in the car today and Kia-Ora says, "Key Not In Vehicle"...  eeek:

Battery in the fob was flat (it is supposed to warn you that it is low but I've not seen the message).

Managed to start the car (there is an emergency procedure) and drive to the shops...

The manual says changing it is easy (it was simple on the Pajero). It doesn't tell you that you shouldn't change it while sitting in the car as teeny-tiny pieces of the fob will fall out down the side of the seat!  Banghead

A rather civilised day after cleaning was finished.  Dinner prepped so went to pub at 5pm for a couple of drinks with folk I’ve not seen for months.  cloud9:
