Appledore for the now reopened Miss Mollett's High Class Tea Room and then on a whim drove onto Dymchurch.  God knows why, it's a dump and we drove through turned round and drove straight home

Nod's "all clear" was premature and wrong.

Going in soon for 8 hour op, two weeks in hospital and a colostomy bag  noooo:

So not just Polyps then ???  noooo:

The Man has been in hospital again all  this week  -  hopefully be collecting him this afternoon but again not allowed to visit  evil:

This was to have the stoma reversal op  and a hernia repair around where the bag was (a common side effect)  - so bag on , bag off in under a year. A few more scans as well and a follow up appointment just to check a small area of possible concern or maybe it's scar tissue - they are not sure but they had a look during op and didn't see anything to worry about.

It takes some adjusting to and given Nod's track record he may need a fair bit of support . If he wants any advice or experience having just gone through this happy to help

Good news about The Man and thanks for the kind offer. Nod is bowing to the inevitable and his op is not reversible.

Nod must feel a bit overwhelmed by the prospect of the op and then adjusting afterwards .

It will take some adjustment and there will be trial and error and also coming to terms with all the gubbings that is associated with having to change bags etc .  He should get a lot of specialist and practical support to help with all this though so that ultimately he can carry on living a 'normal' life with his besty  lol:
