Nod's "all clear" was premature and wrong.

Going in soon for 8 hour op, two weeks in hospital and a colostomy bag  noooo:

So not just Polyps then ???  noooo:

The Man has been in hospital again all  this week  -  hopefully be collecting him this afternoon but again not allowed to visit  evil:

This was to have the stoma reversal op  and a hernia repair around where the bag was (a common side effect)  - so bag on , bag off in under a year. A few more scans as well and a follow up appointment just to check a small area of possible concern or maybe it's scar tissue - they are not sure but they had a look during op and didn't see anything to worry about.

It takes some adjusting to and given Nod's track record he may need a fair bit of support . If he wants any advice or experience having just gone through this happy to help

Good news about The Man  . .
seconded

Disgraceful though to see today's revelations that so many DVLA staff were paid to sit at home watching TV while your and many other essential applications sat in unopened post bags

It's what I expect from the public sector.

It took nearly 7 months to process my case.  noooo:

Not just the DVLA

HMRC have finally admitted that a key document they claimed not to have from me had actually been with them since April last year.  And it wasn't needed anyway as they knew the key facts in December 2020.  They still tried to stiff £5k from the estate I'm administrator for.
Well, whatever, nevermind
