Popped into Gatwick yesterday for a cheeky little 13hr overtime shift. This morning, everything is hurty so will soon venture to the local for some black liquid painkiller.

I'm half expecting a call from head office after giving the area manager nightmares last night. He was chatting to the on site manager after dropping some supplies off and was commenting about shortages we had so I chimed in and said that given the supply chain issues and exponential rise in fuel costs it wasn't that surprising and as it's probably going to get worse it will be worth making some massive bulk orders if we have storage at one of sites which can then be sent out as needed.

Then I mentioned about the knock on effects of Russia invading Ukraine and what that would most likely mean for popcorn kernel supplies and prices for the next year or so, the phrase 'white as a sheet' comes to mind.

All I did was point out some concerns as a responsible member of staff angel1

   and

Liquid painkiller consumed, bit of shopping and 2 crosswords done. Luncheon of a rather tasty Sainsbury's chicken vindaloo consumed. Siesta, dinner, a few ales, back to bed about 0300 as I have 4 straight night shifts next. Bastards.

Also - thread drift - I like the grilles on ICE cars, different syles etc. I see the "face" of the car.

All these modern electric shitters don't need the grille for the extra cooling it gives, they are all just faceless slabs. Ugly and no character.

It's better than I ever even knew.  They say that the world was built for two.  Only worth living if somebody is loving you.  Baby now you do.
