We always split the bill 50:50 with friends except after when we go bowling as some have just a starter and rush off and others pig it  redface:   So I pay everything incl the bowling and send everyone a bill after.  It seems to work

So went out to help someone to help their mate sort out his bar's sound system ....

called when I arrived to find out where they were .?...oh can you come tomorrow...?

F*** right off ...if I spend my free time driving around Paphos to help you and source cables etc and you cannot call me to say cannot make the time YOU arranged .. cussing:
