He wrote down the word ALEXA in his notebook so as not to forget the name noooo:

And I may have set up Alexa to give him daily info about weather, traffic and news at 7 a.m. whistle: angel1

Going to the police to report a missing person
Right move   but sad situation  noooo:

Well after some initial scepticism, even suspicion, they snapped into action and "escalated" me to a Detective Inspector. Enquiries have started. They asked, hypothetically like, if I would be willing to identify a body  eeek:

eeek: Who was is it?  eeek:

He lives and is fine!!

You don't know Nod, do you? noooo: noooo: noooo:

It may be worth you having a look at a program called Voiceattack. It's more for gaming and can be fiddly to initially configure but there is a lot of flexibility as far as what can be done with it. Even Nod should be able to handle saying something like 'shut down computer' and letting it do it's thing once the command has been programmed.

There are also a bunch of entertaining voicepacks available from people including William Shatner, Tom Baker , Paul Darrow and Brian Blessed. I've got the Shatner pack for Elite Dangerous but someone vaguely tech savvy with an evil sense of humour could easily adapt Blessed's one to sound like a deranged Alexalike...  eveilgrin:
