I need a lie down.
In January we managed to use the Dartford Crossing twice without paying the toll. Utter stupidity, fair cop and just waiting for the two £37.50 fines to come through (they take time) and as it was mostly my fault probably my beer money will be raided to pay
Today the two dreaded letters finally arrive. They say just £2.50 (what we should have paid) for the first one
and £37.50 for the second if we pay now. OK not arguing.
I go online only to be told pay a fiver (what we should have originally paid on the day) and we'll call it quits for both. And we've got it in writing.
