I think you'll find that Ada Lovelace a bit similarly to Linda, was a bit of a good time as had by all girl. 

Bright thing that she was (first computer programmer and all that) she had a sad life blighted by ill health and died young.  As IIRC did Linda.

Anyone else experienced the frustration of dealing with a microfiche where the arse that did the capture had the paper original back to front and then destroyed it without checking?
