Msg from bank on text … evil:  ..your card is ready … Thumbs:

Collect from branch 660 …..

 cussing: cussing: Angry9:

Do they think I know all their f censored:ing branch numbers … Angry9:

Yes I will google it …but how about putting the  censored: address ..??? ..

Seriously ..no wonder every bastard here uses cash ..!..it’s beyond a joke …

And just to get my stress levels higher ..the f censored:g car park is one of those text only things ..no pay n display … cussing:

Are we sitting comfortably children ……

So use text car park .. Thumbs:

Go to collect card ..small queue .. Shocked:

Ask “do you post PIN code ?” ..

No it is on app …

 rubschin:

On your online banking ..

Me “ I said when opening account Didnt want that “

Oh ..

I offer my phone to lady ..

She takes it with disgust …tries to get APP working …it does not …

“Your phone is too old !” …

Now I am about to explode ..firstly ..in my opinion ..owning any mobile phone should NOT be a requirement to open or use any f censored:g bank account or service …

I point the irony that I can’t get a new phone as I cannot access my money ……she does not find his remotely funny .. whistle:

So here I am at home ..trying to calm down and try and access my PIN on another device ? iPad or home PC ..?

The world is doomed ..

So tempted to go in and draw it all out ..and go to another bank ..but in my heart ..I know they will be exactly the same ….RIP customer service …..plus knowing my luck I would need the PIN code to draw it out ..

Rant over …………
noooo:

They still post your PIN to you in the UK - well the real banks do, not sure about that Revolut stuff.

Zactly ..I understand the keeping separate thing …but how they cannot tell me what it is in bank ..?   Or change it for me ..?

It's a heavy handed approach but it protects the bank from any liability under data protection. If the branches can't access the information then they can't inadvertently change or pass your PIN on to a fraudster in the case of identity theft.
The universe is run by the complex interweaving of three elements. Energy, matter, and enlightened self-interest.

Exactly.

In my experience taking your passport along tends to convince them you are who you say you are.
Well, whatever, nevermind
