How many crowns? One always fails so it is best to plant at least two.


Oh and don't forget to put plenty of manure under them and water them well.


Our rhubarb is already up so I can't see you getting any crop this year.

These are crowns from a nursery not expecting them to crop this year or next.  6 crowns in all should give us a longer season.

Must be eaten or preserved (frozen even) by July. Tastes horrible after that apparently. Tradition has it you must trample the plant into the ground during July to feed next year's crop.
