I had a dream about a swimming pool last night ( cross threads I know) ...but it was an old one I used to go to as a kid . It had changed beyond all recognition and had a fancy pants outside bit now. But all I wanted to do was go inside and swim in lengths. they wouldn't let me . They only allowed you to swim in widths  Banghead

Proving that length isn't everything but width can make a difference  whistle:

scared2: I just heard my old English Master spinning in his grave. He would have caned me for such appalling English whilst intoning " I much prefer my interpretation .... you useless boy"

How many crowns? One always fails so it is best to plant at least two.

Oh and don't forget to put plenty of manure under them and water them well.

Our rhubarb is already up so I can't see you getting any crop this year.

These are crowns from a nursery not expecting them to crop this year or next.  6 crowns in all should give us a longer season.

Must be eaten or preserved (frozen even) by July. Tastes horrible after that apparently. Tradition has it you must trample the plant into the ground during July to feed next year's crop.
